St James encourages all children of the Parish to continue their religious education provided at home by attending the St. James Faith Formation classes. These classes are open to all children of the parish in grades K to 12. Classes are held during the school year Sundays after the 10 a.m. Mass (9 a.m. Mass during the month of September) in the parish hall. Attendance at Mass is part of the program. 

Children preparing for their first Communion attend a special class that is held the first Sunday of each month. Youth preparing for Confirmation attend a special class during Youth Group.

Our children are an important part of religious holidays too! They assist with the May Crowning of Mary, perform in a reenactment of Christ’s birth of Christmas Eve, and all enjoy our annual Easter Egg Hunt!
